Each year the Australian Academy of Science through the generous support of Professor Frank Fenner, FAA, FRS, and the late Mrs Fenner, conducts a series of conferences on the environment and conservation issues in Australia and its environs.

The conferences aim to bring together relevant scientific, administrative and policy expertise to consider current environmental and conservation issues in Australia, and provide outcomes that contribute to the development of policies that work to alleviate some of these issues.
