RGMIMS

A robust laboratory information management system is required for efficient handling of data generated from large scale insertional mutagenesis projects. CSIRO has developed a web-based Rice Gene Machine Information management System (RGMIMS) in a modular form - plant management, transformation management, seed management, FST management, phenotype management and adhoc querying (Henry L, Ramm K, Zhu Q-H and Upadhyaya NM, submitted). RGMIMS supports generic research processes in plant mutagenesis and could readily be adapted to general high throughput plant research.
