tRMA: tools for R
Microarray Analysis
tRMA is a software package for the analysis of microarray images. It is available to selected research groups.
Its features include functions to
load certain types of (cDNA) microarray data files
examine the data through display and plot functions
normalise the data by removing biases within arrays
average data across slide and gene replicates
extract genes that are highly differentially expressed
cluster across genes or slides
tRMA is implemented as a suite of tools for the free data analysis environment, "R", and the user can therefore access all the graphical and statistical tools of R in addition to those provided by tRMA.
Note that the user must obtain R from the R Project home page(http://www.r-project.org/), for the purposes of using tRMA.
You can read the tRMA User's Guide here.
tRMA is currently being linked to a genomics array database, GENAdb.
If you would like to enquire about obtaining a beta-licence for the use of tRMA, please send an email to trma@cmis.csiro.au
